Chu Prince Mausoleum
The Chu Prince Mausoleum is a seldom seen and exceptionally big caverned catacomb with the gigantic project for a prince in the Western Han Dynasty. Unearthed in the mausoleum were about two thousand pieces or sets of various precious historical relics, which are extremely exquisite in workmanship. It was chosen as the first among the ten important archaeological finds in China in the year of 1995 and one of the one hundred major archaeological discoveries in the 20 th century in China, for its largest scale, most cultural relics and highest value in historical study.
